25 Jul 2024: Thanks to action-adventure short Dr. X Finds Her Light, I am a finalist in the 2024 NYC Midnights Short Story Challenge, one of 75 out of 6145 (top 1.2%).

5 Jun 2024: My horror short story Overpriced ranks fourth in group in the Second Round of the 2024 NYC Midnights Short Story Challenge. I’m now one of 376 writers in Round Three, out of 6145 (top 6%).

10 Apr 2024: My rom-com short story Find Someone Who Looks at You Like Mohinder Singh Looks at Iris Doherty comes in first in its group in the 2024 NYC Midnights Short Story Challenge.

27 Feb 2024: In Vitro Veritas named to The Grey List, a collection of the year’s best scripts by writers over 40.

31 Dec 2023: Closing out the year with Sand Mama’s amazing festival run still going. 17 festivals and counting, including Academy Award-qualifying Cinequest, Indy Shorts, and Short Shorts Asia; as well as other well-known gems such as Montclair (what’s up, Stephen Colbert), Evolution Mallorca, and Woods Hole.

18th Nov 2023: Sand Mama wins Best Student Short at the Ocean Coast Film Festival in Portugal.

30th Sep 2023: In Vitro Veritas cracks the top 1% of all 140K+ scripts on Coverfly when it is named a Semi-Finalist for the Humanitas David and Lynn Angell College Comedy Award and Second Rounder in the storied Austin Film Festival.

19th July 2023: Sand Mama screens at its first Oscar-qualifyer, Indy Shorts! In all, it screens at six film festivals in summer 2023 alone.

30th Mar 2023: In Vitro Veritas is a finalist (Top 2%) in the Women’s Weekend Film Challenge (now Moonshot) Pilot Accelerator, especially meaningful because the judges were an epic group of showrunners and writers.

16th Feb 2023: Sand Mama has its US festival premiere at Dam Short Film Festival, a gem of a fest where many lauded filmmakers got their start.
